World Food Security meeting to accelerate progress on SDG2

The 46th Committee on World Food Security, CFS is set to accelerate progress on achieving zero hunger, SDG2.

According to a statement from the CFS, the global meeting on food security and nutrition will focus on the Sustainable Development Goals with emphasis on zero hunger.

It stated that 2019 also marks ten years since the CFS Reform in 2009 and 45 years since the founding of the Committee in 1974.

The 46th Committee on World Food Security is scheduled to hold from 14 – 18 October 2019 in Rome, Italy
