Quartz Africa Innovators, an annual series identifying some of the most ambitious and imaginative minds on the continent just released the 2018 list of African Innovators and the CEO and Founder of Farmcrowdy, Onyeka Akumah made the list.
Farmcrowdy is Nigeria's 1st Digital Agriculture Platform focused on giving people the opportunity to invest in Agriculture by connecting farm sponsors with real farmers.
Described as the "30 movers and thinkers", the list consists of 30 individuals selected from different countries within Africa who have contributed immensely to the developmental progress of African countries in a wide range of fields including agriculture, healthcare, education, technology, finance, entertainment and more.
In the words of Onyeka Akumah, he said “I'm humbled by the selection to join such a reputable list of people making an impact on the African continent. This is a great honor and I would like to say thank you, not just for me, but my team who help me do what I do.”
This global recognition is coming just a few weeks, Onyeka Akumah was presented with an award for being one of the 100 (Under 40) Most Influential Young Persons in West Africa.
